Continuing from the Eight of Cups, the tide retreats and Pierrot finds himself washed up on shore. He will miss the ocean, but it is time to let go.
Pierrot is washed up on a sandy beach, his limbs spread out and his skullcap dislodged and covering one of his eyes. He surrounded by straggly pieces of red and green seaweed and nine clamshells, and the foamy tide rises up at edge of the card. His baggy white shirt has three blue buttons and one red button. He also wears blue gloves and shoes.
