Ten of Coins

Two smiling clowns ride away from the viewer on horseback toward a red setting sun.

In this final card of the Suit of Coins, two rodeo clowns go out of the fence and ride off for the sunset. Each clown carries one coin as provisions in her saddlebag. The Camoin-Jodorowsky deck places the four suits in order, transitioning into each other: after Coins comes Batons. Accordingly, these two clowns are ready to go out wandering with the tramp clowns in that suit.

Image Description

Two smiling clowns ride away from the viewer on horseback toward a red setting sun. Ahead of them there are yellow and orange desert mountains with green cactuses sprinkled through them. In the foreground there is a red fence with eight small yellow coins along its top. Each clown carries another yellow coin in a saddle bag. Each coin has a four-petaled flower in its center. The clown on the left side of the card looks back over her shoulder and waves. She wears a dark blue cowboy hat and jeans with a tan shirt, a green bandana, and blue and red boots. Her horse smiles and prances forward. The clown on the right side of the card is turned backward on his horse, who has a more serious expression. He has one hand on his hip and the other hand shielding his eyes. He wears a red cowboy hat, red bandana, and red boots with a green and blue button-down shirt and blue pants.
